Story
Once upon a time, there were three students doing a unit at Murdoch university. Things were going well, until suddenly, before they knew it, it was the final weeks of the semester! Final projects were popping up left, right and centre! Just when they thought things couldn't possibly get any worse, suddenly their lecturer burst in while they were casually sitting in the computing laboratory, discussing the finer points of modern philosophy and religion over a pot of herb tea.

"Arrr-hah-ha-ha-ha!", he cackled maniacally, his moustache wobbling back and forth as he thrust a massive wad of paper into their faces. The students gasped and dropped their fine, antique china cups, spilling scalding hot tea all over themselves. They writhed in pain while their lecturer explained that the massive wad of paper was, in fact, their final project and it was due in a week's time!

While all three were recovering in the burns unit of a nearby hospital, they examined their project description. It stated that they were to make a game of some kind. This seemed easy enough, so they immediately set to work, though this was painfully difficult as they massive weight of the project description had fractured their arms and left them in a massive plaster cast. Despite this, they plunged on. Stumbling into the laboratory, high on hospital drugs, the three began feverishly programming, while their lecturer danced up and down behind them with a whip, yelling "Faster, you dogs, faster! If I don't have something good to show to the Chancellor and industry reps in less than 48 hours, you'll never see your families again!" One of the other students from another group dared to speak up and ask permission to attend an exam in his wheelchair, and the lecturer responded by beating his head in with a nearby office desk. The three redoubled their efforts.

But even through the haze of pain and drugs, they could see that there was something massively wrong with their program. Bugs were popping up in their program all over the place! There was no pattern to them, moving in seemingly random directions and jumping from function to function with a will of their own. Even worse, when they eliminated one bug, two more sprang up in it's place! Aaargh! Time was running out, and they had to get their project done! There had to be a way...

Instructions
There are five levels in total. In order to clear a level you must kill all of the bugs on that level. To kill a bug, move the crosshair over it with the arrow keys and press the space bar. However, beware! Only the green bug can be killed. If you kill a red bug, it will split into two! Therefore, the only way to clear a level is to kill each green bug as they appear until there are none left.

You can only make a certain number of mistakes by clicking on a red bug. Before long, the massive amount of bugs will cause a fatal error and the program will crash, ending your game. You will then have to start again from level one. Each of the levels gets successively harder, as the playing field gets smaller and smaller and hitting the right bug becomes a matter of patience and reflexes.

Hint: The bugs move in an entirely straight line until they hit a wall, when they bounce off randomly. This makes the best method of scoring consistent hits to wait for them near the centre and move to intercept when necessary. Don't expend your energy chasing after the green bug, let him come to you.

The Interface
The window is divided into two parts: The upper area where the playing occurs, and the lower area is the scoreboard and display. During the game the display will show your current score and also the amount of lives Remember that you cannot have 50 or more bugs on the screen or you whole program will crash (not really, but you'll lose the game).

For every green bug you blat, the game will award you 100 points. For every red bug, it will deduct 150. Therefore it pays to avoid the red bugs as much as possible!

After you finish the game, the scoreboard will show your total score and give you a ranking from n00b (lowest) to n1nj4 (highest). You can then press N to start a new game or close the program.
